Barre & Breathwork
I’m co-hosting a series of wokshops in East Dulwich and Camberwell over January and February!
‘Barre, breath and balance to improve mental clarity, physical resilience and neuroplasticity’.
This workshop will start with a breathwork warm-up focusing on improving heart rate variability (HRV), before moving into a barre flow, which will incorporate resistance equipment and low-impact choreography, specifically aimed at improving balance and core strength. The workshop will finish with a deeply restorative guided breath meditation in shavasana.
This one-of-a-kind workshop will uniquely blend precision movement with proprioception, coordination and postural alignment on the one hand, and breathwork on the other hand.
Facilitators:
Emma is a mindfulness teacher, Cambridge-educated tutor and cognitive health coach.
Gee is a qualified barre instructor and level 3 personal trainer, with a degree in contemporary dance from Trinity Laban.
Our workshops are open to all, but specifically designed for people with busy lives! Previous breathwork or barre experience is not required.
